Welcome to MochiMeet. Protecting user privacy and data security is our top priority. This privacy policy details how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information provided to us through the use of our service.

MochiMeet is a technology service for managing, coordinating, and automating meetings, including calendar integration, availability management, participant scheduling, and third-party integrations.

2. Information We Collect
Information provided directly by the user
When registering or using the service, you may provide us with:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name and role
- Login credentials for calendars or external services
- Any additional information you choose to enter when scheduling a meeting
Information collected automatically
When using the system, technical information is collected such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device type
- Usage times
- Pages and actions within the system
- Digital identifiers and cookies
Information from calendars and integrations
When you connect external services such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, we may receive information such as:
- Availability
- Meeting details
- Participants
- Titles and times
Information is accessible to us only in accordance with the permissions you granted.

- Operate the service and provide meeting scheduling
- Display availability and perform automatic scheduling
- Send confirmations and reminders
- Improve the product and experience
- Provide technical support
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Comply with legal requirements
Google user data
When you sign in with Google or connect your Google account, MochiMeet asks only for the access below, and uses it only to provide the features you see in the app:
- Your basic profile (name, email address and photo): to create your account and sign you in.
- Google Calendar, read access: to show your upcoming meetings, to check when you are busy so your booking pages only offer free times, and to link your meeting notes and pre-meeting briefs to the right meeting (its time, title, attendees, description and video link).
- Google Calendar, events: to add, update and remove the calendar event, with its Google Meet link and invitation, when a meeting is booked, rescheduled or cancelled through your MochiMeet booking pages.
- Gmail, read-only, only if you choose to connect it: to read recent emails with the people in an upcoming meeting (up to 45 days back) and include what matters in your pre-meeting brief. MochiMeet never sends, deletes or changes emails, and does not store their content.
To write summaries and briefs, the relevant parts of this data are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) through its API, which does not use them to train its models. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone else, except with the service providers that run MochiMeet for you or when required by law.
MochiMeet's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google API Services User Data Policy
You can disconnect Google in your account settings or remove MochiMeet’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete the data we hold, write to privacy@mochimeet.com.
Meeting recordings, transcripts and AI
Mochi records and summarizes the meetings you choose, on iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, Chrome and the web. This section explains what that involves.
What we collect and how
- Audio: from your device’s microphone, only after you start a recording, or from a recording you import or share to Mochi. Recordings made on Apple Watch are sent to your iPhone.
- Transcripts of that audio, with speakers told apart, and the notes you write.
- Meeting details from your calendar: the title, time and attendee names.
- Questions you ask Mochi about your notes, and documents you attach to them.
How we use it
Only to provide the features you use: transcripts, note titles, summaries with next steps, answers to your questions and drafts of follow-up emails. We don’t sell it, don’t use it for advertising and don’t use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) processes this data for us through its API: it turns audio into text and writes titles, summaries, answers and emails. Under its API terms and data processing agreement, OpenAI uses the data only to provide this service to us, doesn’t use it to train its models, keeps it for no more than 30 days to detect abuse, and protects it with safeguards equal to or stronger than ours.
For meetings booked through your Mochi booking pages, if you turn on the meeting recorder, Recall.ai joins the call to record it for us.
Your permission
Before anything is sent to OpenAI for the first time, the Mochi app shows what is sent and to whom, and asks for your permission. Nothing is sent if you don’t agree. You can withdraw your permission at any time under Account in the iPhone app; Mochi then stops recording and sending data to OpenAI.
How long we keep it
On iPhone, audio stays on the device only until it is transcribed, and is then deleted. We don’t keep audio on our servers. Notes, summaries and transcripts stay on your devices and in your Mochi account until you delete them or your account. You can delete your account in the app, under Account.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared only in the following cases:
- With technology service providers that assist in operating the system
- As part of integrations that the user chose to connect
- If required by law, court order, or authorized authority
- In the event of a structural change in the company such as a merger or acquisition
All third parties are obligated to maintain confidentiality and data security.
Apps you connect to Mochi
You can let an AI app, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, read your Mochi meetings. Nothing is shared with an app until you approve it on Mochi’s consent screen.
- What it can read: your meeting notes and summaries, the notes in the shared folders of the teams you belong to, summaries of meetings booked through your pages and, while we keep them, their transcripts, and your upcoming meetings.
- It can only read. A connected app can’t change, send or delete anything in Mochi.
- What Mochi keeps about the connection: the app’s name, when it was last used, and an access key that expires after an hour and that the app can renew for up to 60 days. We don’t save the searches the app runs for you in your account.
- Once Mochi sends information to an app you connected, that app’s provider handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.
- You can disconnect an app at any time under Account settings, Connected apps. It loses access immediately.
5. Data Storage and International Transfer
Data may be stored on servers outside of Israel. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.
We employ contractual and technological measures to ensure an adequate level of protection in accordance with Israeli law.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including:
- Encryption in transit
- Access control and permissions
- Anomalous activity monitoring
- Environment separation
- Backups
However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute immunity.
7. Data Retention
Data is retained as long as it is needed for providing the service, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.
You may request deletion as detailed below.
8. User Rights
Under privacy protection law, users are entitled to:
- Review information stored about them
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion, subject to legal limitations
- Withdraw certain consents

10. Minors
The service is not intended for minors under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We reserve the right to update this policy from time to time.
