Alternatives

Granola alternatives, honestly compared.

Granola is a great bot-free notepad. People look elsewhere when they also need to book the meeting, want video and clips, or want their team's CRM fed automatically. Here's who each alternative fits, with prices checked in October 2026.

Mochi: notes and scheduling in one app

Bot-free notes on the Mac like Granola, in person on iPhone and Apple Watch, and booking pages that turn the guest's answers into a brief before you meet. The whole app works in English and Hebrew. Pro is $18 a month ($15 billed yearly), with 14 days of Executive free.

Fathom: a generous free plan, with video

A bot records your video calls, with clips to share; a bot-free Mac mode is in beta. The free plan records without limit and summarizes 5 calls a month; Premium is $20 a month.

tl;dv: video and CRM for sales teams

Records with a bot or its desktop app, with clips, CRM sync and coaching for sales teams. Pro is $18 a seat a month and Business $29, billed yearly.

Fireflies: many languages, deep analytics

Known for its notetaker bot, now with a desktop app on Mac and Windows; transcribes in more than 100 languages. Pro is $18 a seat a month ($10 billed yearly).

Otter: transcripts and recorded files

A bot joins your calls by default, and Otter is strong at transcribing files you already have. Pro is $16.99 a month ($8.33 billed yearly).
