Do I need a Mac to use Mochi?
No. Use Mochi in the browser for scheduling, notes, and your workspace. The Mac app records your mic and computer audio on macOS 14.2 or later. The iPhone and Apple Watch apps record conversations in person.
Does a bot join my meeting?
Not when you record with the Mac app. Mochi captures your mic and computer audio once you start recording. If you’d rather have a notetaker in the call, an in-call bot is available on Pro and Executive.
What if I forget to stop recording?
Mochi stops by itself after 15 minutes of quiet and lets you know, so a forgotten recording doesn’t run all afternoon.
Does Apple Watch need my iPhone nearby?
No. Start Mochi on your wrist and record. When your watch and iPhone meet again, the note moves over on its own.
What’s the difference between Mochi Chat and Mochi Agent?
Mochi Chat answers questions across all your meetings. Mochi Agent takes the next step: it drafts emails and suggests calendar changes, and runs them only after you approve.
Where do my notes and recordings go?
Notes live on your devices, and a copy of your notes, summaries, and meeting details syncs to your account for viewing, sharing, and questions. Audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription and deleted after it’s transcribed. The account copy of a note doesn’t include its audio.
Can I use Mochi in Hebrew?
Yes. Every Mochi app speaks English and Hebrew, right to left included. Choose automatic language detection, English, or Hebrew for transcription.
Which calendars can I connect?
Google Calendar and Microsoft calendars (Outlook and Microsoft 365).
Do guests need a Mochi account?
No. Guests book on your page without an account. Shared note links open without signing in too, so share them only with the people you mean to.
